Giving FAQ

What does LFCC use for online and text giving?

Kindrid is the name of our giving platform.  It is secure and user friendly!

How long does it take for LFCC to receive my gift?

Usually, it takes about 2-3 days between the time you give and when it appears in our bank account.

Does text giving cost me anything?

Other than standard text messaging and data rates, there aren’t any fees!

Is my personal information sent in a text message?

Kindrid is never used to send any personal or financial information via text message. It is simply used to facilitate giving. Your personal and financial information is always encrypted and stored securely.

Is my card and bank account information secure?

Yes, absolutely.  All sensitive financial information is stored with bank level security. All information is secured with 256 AES encryption and stored by our banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliance standards. Additionally, all transmissions to Kindred’s banking partner and on our site are via an encrypted HTTPS connection.

How will my phone number be used?

Your phone number will never be sold, traded, or given out to third parties. You will only be texted to confirm your giving and receive responses to other requests you make.

How will I know when my credit card is charged?

Anytime your card is charged you will receive an email and (if you have provided a mobile telephone number) a text message confirmation from our system.

What if I accidentally type the wrong amount?

When you make a gift, you will receive a text confirmation that re-states the amount given. If you made a mistake, you can respond with the word “REFUND” within the first 15 minutes and you will not be charged. After 15 minutes, please contact the Finance Department to process your refund.

Is it case sensitive? Do I have to put a $ symbol?

Nope! Gifts will work as 100 or $100 or $100.00 or 100.00 etc. Any text you enter is not case-sensitive. We also recommend double-checking the amount before sending your text.

Can I designate my gift to a specific fund?

Yes! If you’re giving via text, you’ll simply send your gift amount followed by the fund keyword to (850) 424-1467. For example, “$100 Benevolence.”

If you don’t know which fund keywords are available, send KEYWORD to (850) 424-1467.

Through giving online, you’ll see a dropdown menu of available fund designations!

How do I unlink my phone number from Kindrid Giving?

If you wish close your account or change your phone number please contact the Finance Department.

How do I edit my information?

Simply text the word “EDIT” to your church’s (850) 424-1467 and you’ll be given a link to your Account Settings page.

What is the phone number I text and whose is it?

The phone number you are texting is a secure number that belongs to LFCC, through Kindrid Giving. It is used exclusively for giving.

How do I give online?

Simply visit thelfcc.org and click Give Now.

How do I sign into the online giving page?

You can sign in using the same credentials from the old giving platform (easytithe). If you don’t not have an account already, you can register by selecting Sign In and then Register for an account.

How can I make my giving recurring?

Once signed in, select the fund(s) and enter the amount(s) you desire to give. Then select the Make This Gift Recurring check box and complete the Recurring Gift Details.
